Justice For Arooj? Rape, A Soul Murderer
What exactly is Rape? Some referred it as “Sex without consent” and
some as “Sexual assault”. Wikipedia says that “Rape is
a type of sexual assault usually involving sexual
intercourse or other forms of sexual
penetration carried out against a person
without that person's consent.
The act may be carried out by physical force, coercion, abuse of authority, or against a person who is incapable of giving valid
consent, such as one who is unconscious, incapacitated, has an intellectual
disability or is below the legal age
of consent.”
That is a definition but have you ever wonder that it can be more than
just these things? In my opinion, it is a murder, yes, a murder. When a person
rapes you, he is not only molesting your body but destroying your soul, taking
away your will power and your ability to survive mentally. Sometimes, it can
destroy your psychology.
In Islamic Republic of Pakistan, seventy-two percent of women are physically
or sexually abused. And yet we call
ourselves an Islamic State. I feel nothing but pity and i see nothing but
murderers.
Here is an another rape case or should i call ‘a murder case’? A video
of victim’s mother, Samreen Asif, went viral all around on social media
in which she demanded justice for her fifteen year old girl child named Arooj.
Samreen cries, “My 15-year-old daughter, a student of 8th class, has been raped
by Raza Bugti. The police officials launched a false FIR, which allowed
culprit Raza Bugti to return to his home in one day.” She mentioned about a
medical test whose report has been given to the mother in which she was raped
not only once but several times. In an interview to Waqar Zaka, Arooj
says, “I was raped by Raza Bugti, his younger brother Shehzad Bugti and two
other men. A woman of our building stood by them and threatened me not to
scream, otherwise i will face the consequences in shape of acid.
Between all this, another video of Samreen and Raza went viral in which
they were romantically involved with each other and Arooj was sitting right
next to her mother. A lot of people were raising fingers on Samreen to be
involved with Raza like that but that is clearly not our concern. People were
blaming Samreen for rape but my question is, why? We all make mistakes and then
we learn from them. Haven’t you ever made a mistake or maybe you are an angel
or a hypocrite? Samreen’s relation with Raza does not give him any right or
impression to rape her daughter. A fifteen year old got raped, that matters the
most.
There were a lot of complications at first but since the medical
reports, it is quite clear that she got raped and someone raped her, someone from
our society. Maybe it was not Raza but it was someone. Rape is an
outrage that cannot be tolerated by
civilized society. Clearly, we are not a civilized one. Women and children got
raped daily in our country and what are we doing? Yes, i know, we are doing 'nothing'. Government needs to
understand that we are not like other nations, a strong law should be made. And
this time culprit needs to be hanged publicly. Again, Rape is a fucking murder.
Alice Seybold says, “In the tunnel where I was
raped, a girl had been murdered and dismembered. I was told this story by the
police. In the comparison, they said, i was lucky. Since then I have always thought that under
rape in the dictionary, it should tell the truth. It is not just forcible
intercourse; rape means to inhabit and destroy everything.”

bitter reality of our society :(
ReplyDeleteReally no words to express my my pain and anger after reading this . These incidents have rapidly increased due to wrong legislation and bad judiciary system. My heart goes out to the victims and I hope the rapists are punished in worse possible way🙇♀️.
ReplyDeleteMay ALLAH pak Bless us with Sarat-e-Mustaqeen . Ameeen
I myself condemn that rape case as every case in Pakistan, as she was a daughter a sister of someone but at the same time the question arise that wgat samreen (the victims mother) was doing with Raza bugti in that too in a romantic mood? For me that is the turing point of an issue and a society!
ReplyDeleteYo give a proper nourishment to your child you must be and ideal first for him/her.
Yes we make mistakes n we try to rectify them by turning our path...n i stand for arooj cz whatever her mother was involved in no one gave right to that person to spoil the life of an innocent soul....in Pakistan's law every person n i mean every single one has rights n these rights are not changed on the basis of whoes daughter or son someone is....so its her right that she should be provided woth justice!
