Someone said “If you’re reading this, Congratulations, you’re alive. If that’s not something to smile about, then I don’t know what is.” For a second thought do u think is it? Reading everyday ” Humanity died again“.

Yes I see a fair reason to smile again.

Another lamp of humanity fades as tears put a death blow to the flames. Another ray of light flickers as darkness wins over. Those tears even losing their sparkle as sun of hope sets behind the selfless hearts of stone.

At times i actually pause and re think, are we living in a society of humans? As i see no humanity around. But yes i see humans as social animals, making up just a society of Animals. Some animals who prey and others who rejoice. JUST rejoice who are we?

Reminding of Quaid-e-Azam’s words “We are members of the brotherhood of Islam in which all are equal in rights, dignity and self-respect.” Consequently, we have a special and a very deep sense of unity. But make no mistake, Pakistan is not a theocracy or anything like it. Islam demands from us the tolerance of other creeds and we welcome in closest association with us all those who, of whatsoever creed, are themselves willing and ready to play their part as true and loyal citizens of Pakistan.

When I heard about Zainab’s incident I re read this quote again and all of it made a completely different sense to me!

Yes we are living nation. A perfect example of brotherhood, who mentioned sisterhood right? We have equal rights to kill and rape someone and roam with our dignity without fear. We have only Self-respect and no respect for others! Ah and a deep sense to unite for injustice “ But make no mistake” We are nowhere close to theocracy but much worse!...
